Printable Coupons For JoAnn's

Found some great printable coupons here for JoAnn's. Scroll to the bottom and there is one for 20% off your entire purchase, including sales items. Just thought I would share with all my readers, since most of you are fellow etsians and cutting costs on supplies is top priority.

Also, just in case you did not know, you can use more than one coupon at a time. They may say only one per customer, but they are referring to only one of that specific coupon. If you have a 40% off one item, a 50% off one item, and a 20% off entire order, you can use them all. We saved about $40 the other day using 5 coupons.

What's In Store For the Future

We are still in the long tedious process of making ourselves into what we hope to become in the future. Our goal for the shop is to be a place where people can come and get top quality, hand crafted merchandise at reasonable rates. Not only that, but we want our shop to be the shop where you can get all your gifts. We are continually adding new lines/items to our store. When Christmas comes around, we want you to be able to get all your holiday shopping done at our store. We are 2 very unique individuals that love a variety of things. We think of something we would want and we make it, then think, huh, we should sell these.

Why stick to one item, when people need and want so much more.

One of newest lines we are starting to roll out is our travel line. As of now it consists of handmade fabric passport holders. However I am working on the pattern for a passport/card/tickets/etc. holder with a zipper closure. Hopefully the first one of these will be up in the next couple of days. Below are examples of our passport holders.

These are all fun and original.  We hope you like them and, as always welcome any suggestions on these items or items you would like to see in our store.

Thanks for visiting us.

UPDATE (3/18/11)

The passport holders are getting good response. I have not yet finished the design for the travel case. I cannot get it just right. Sorry for the delay. Hopefully soon I will be able to nail down a pattern that I am happy with.

As always thank you for visiting us.

Feature Items

I would like to share a few pieces with all of you that are available in a fellow Etsian's shop. They are from the NatalieFaye1031 shop. Natalie is new to Etsy and still working on building up her shop and fan base.

The Colors Of Winter

Description:
The day north Texas received it's first snow of the season. The beautifully muted colors with a hint of texture really catches the eye. Check it out here.

A Winter Summerland

Description:
This was taken in the summer of '09. It was an incredibly hot day. I suppose I was in the mood for snow. Click here to view this posting.

Both of these are beautiful prints. They would make perfect gifts or additions to that room you have been trying to find a stand out piece of art for.

The2SistersShoppe wishes Natalie the best of luck. Continue creating these amazing pieces.

What's the Correct Way to Market

I am one week into the beginning of our marketing plans. Let me tell you, it is not easy to know what to do and what not to. Etsy has a share button to tweet and facebook your items, so that's what we were doing thinking that is how you promote your site. Apparently that is a no no. From what I have read it is equivalent to spamming. How was I supposed to know. I have never done this before. I have to say, I think it may be true, though. I look at all the tweets in my account and that's all most of them are. Either from me or others. That really isn't interesting. Who would want to read that.

So. Now I get to try to clean this mess up and hope I have not lost potential followers forever and ever. Next step is to find interesting people to follow and hope that they follow me as well. Then I build a good following and people will look at the store, right?

Let's hope.
